Genesis 15: God's Covenant With Abram

"Don't be afraid Abram, I am your shield, your very great reward."

Genesis 14: Abram Rescues Lot

318 men... wasn't that like a meer fraction compared to who captured Lot? I feel liek it's the movie 300, but even better because instead of really cool effects and epic music, you just have God. And in my book, God beats special effects any day.

Genesis 13: Abram and Lot Seperate

"All that land that you see I willgive to you and your offspring forever." Genesis 13:15

This verse reminds me of the scene in Lion King where Mufusa says to Simba that everything the light touches is his. But that's amazing, could you imagine God being like... "Ohhh yaaa, bee tee dubs, all that land out there, and over there, and over there, ya.. uhuh.. over there too, it's all yours." I couldn't even imagine that.

Genesis 12: The Call of Abram

Woaaaahhhh...... hold up, leave... like right now? like.. right NOW? pssshht dang that'd be hard to do. give Abram props for that one.

Abram in Egypt:
Yo, this is my sister... she's pretty hot... hahaha.  That musta been really awkward. But the one thing I don't get is why when Pharoah found out she WAS his wife did he not kill him then like he would have in the first place?

Genesis 11: The Tower of Babel

BABEL.... hahahaha I get it!!!! God has such a good sense of humor. But while on this topic.. I never knew that's why there's different languages, I personally never thought about it. Guess you really do learn something new every day.

Genesis 10: The Table of Nations

The Johnanites... I can see it now...
hahahahahahaha i love it....

Genesis 9: God's Covenant With Noah

Ohhh..... God kinda just schooled me right there... maybe I should be a little more patient about the rainbows...

RAINBOWS OWN. I think rainbow's are pretty sweet, like, sooo many colors, soo intense, they reach all thee waaay acrrooos thee skyyy. hahaha. But really, such an amazing thing, not only did he say that he would never do it again, he SHOWED us with rainbows, it's like a promise ring, but around the sky instead of your finger. I wonder what a double rainbow means though...

Genesis 8

Hmm.... I didn't see anything about a rainbow being God's promise to never flood the earth again. Hahaha, wel lwe don't need a physical reminder because we already have one... "Never again will I curse the ground because of man, even though every inclination of his heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures as I have done." Genesis 8:21

Genesis 7

Photobucket
I made this after reading this chapter... hope you like it:)

Genesis 6: The Flood

Who saw the movie Evan Almighty? If you haven't I think you should. I thought that movie was maaaad funny. It's the story of Noah's ark but in today's times. It shows how Noah must have felt about building a humongus boat, but he had enough faith in God to listen to him, I, personally think that's pretty sweet.

Genesis 5: From Adam to Noah

DANG! Living for almost one thousand years? That's just insane. I could never imagine it, but it musta been nice though, living with alot less crap we have in the world today like diseases and crime and such. They must have had some pretty sweet lookin' beards though.

Genesis 4: Cain and Abel

"If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it." Genesis 4:7  If only things where as easily done as said:/

Genesis 3: The Fall of Man

"Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden." Genesis 3:8. The downfall of man... that kinda sucks. I know I'd end up doing the same thing to, so nobody's to blame but ourselves, cause, ya know, it's in our nature.

Genesis 2: Adam and Eve

"The Lord God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone.  I will make a helper suitable for him." Genesis 2:18.

Genesis 1: The Beginning

Isn't God such an awesome artist? Being an artist myself it amazes me how creative he is. As somebody who enjoys nature, it blows me away how beautiful he created everything.

Breaking the ice...

I'd just like to start off this blog with an intro to what exactly I'm going to be doing. I have a goal of reading three chapters of the Bible every day this year, and I'm going to try my best to stick to that goal, some day's I'm bound to fall behind but I'll just have to catch myself up on the days I miss. After I read, I'll hop on this site and type something, possibly what I got out of the message, possibly just a quote from it, or just a simple question, who knows? I'm just really stoked for this so IMMA DO IT! You shoudl too, no pressure... haha, but really...
